The Lost Isle

They were right about it being an island.
They were also right about it being located in a parallel world.
And, yes, they were also right about the way to it being located somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle.
But they didn't know exactly how to get there.
So what was it?

The way there was indirect.
If you went underwater, you could end up in the right spot at the right time and would be unknowingly warped to the other world.
But those that were trying to find the island just ended up drowning. Those who were innocent, though, would survive.

When one manages to locate the island, then they'd find that it is a mix of many things. There were many "realms", or areas, on the island, each one being seemingly based on a different element. There were even some abandoned ruins.

There was also something more unusual, more mystical, more...unknown?
They were the creatures.
